Time capsule arrival
I have totally forgotten that three years back, I wrote to my future self. I find the idea of a time capsule email very amusing. I read it today, and I was so thankful that I wrote it! The younger me was writing from June 25, 2006 through FutureMe.org. I would be graduating after 5 months in that time. I could not share the detailed content of that email but I could tell you that it gave me a lot to think about. In it I wrote about the people I care about. I am pleased that they are still the same people I care for today. (Of course, new people have joined the list!) It made me regret at about something, but hey life is a work in progress!
More importantly, 'I' was urging 'myself' to evaluate the current state of my life, to reflect. I will do just that. Finally, the 20-year old Beejay reminded me of something I may have been missing from time to time. To be happy everyday! So now that I recently turn 23, I resolve to laugh and love on a grander scale! To be a mature person having a kid's heart. To be more happy than I already am. (I won't finish this off with, 'I want to be complete'! This is not a paid ad for Centrum)
* If my memory serves me right, I should be expecting a more stern email from myself sometime in the next 7 years.
